Commercial Week is hotting up
Ever wanted to be in a music video? Want to experience what it feels like to be a professional backing dancer?
Spend your October holiday with guest world‑class professional choreographers from Los Angeles and London and learn the hottest new commercial dance moves at MGA’s COMMERCIAL VIDEO WEEK this October half term.
We are delighted to announce our three guest choreographers for Commercial Week:
We are incredibly excited to welcome back the sensational BRIONY ALBERT. This Greatest Dancer choreographer has spent the last few years working with Shaun Mendes, Christina Aguilera and Ellen Degeneres, so make sure YOU don’t miss out on your chance to learn with her!
Secondly, the fabulous PAMELA DISTEFANO, winner of Living TV’s Dirty Dancing Time of your Life, who has spent the last decade dancing for some of the world’s biggest artists. After her competition win her career shot stateside to Los Angeles and credits include The Ellen Show, The Today Show NY, MTV Teen Awards, The Brit Awards, Latin Music Awards, Country Music Awards, AMAs and the Grammys. Pamela has backed major Artists her credits include, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Usher, Janet Jackson, Katy Perry, Take That, Cheryl Cole, Jessie J, Toni Braxton, Cassie and many more.
Our final guest Choreographer for is the 2018 Creative Edinburgh’s Independent Award Winner ASHLEY JACK! Ashley is an award-winning Hip Hop dancer and choreographer, born and based in Edinburgh and has a decade of experience in both teaching and performing. She has a love of Hip Hop culture, imparting its history and foundations to her students, and has been teaching at at colleges, schools and dance centres in Edinburgh and around Scotland. In 2017, Ashley founded House of Jack, which provides street dance classes for adults and kids at a dedicated studio in Leith, as well as workshops, youth company training, performances and events.
We are also really excited to announce our two amazing locations for the shoot days: The Old Dr Bells Baths, a unique performance venue in Leith, and The Music Box space in Edinburgh.
