MGA Summer School
Musical Theatre Intensives
– inspired by the best of contemporary musical theatre
It’s showtime! Four days of hard work and LOTS of fun, culminating in a performance for an invited audience.
MGA Principals Andrew Gowland and Murray Grant create a four-day course each summer designed to give young people a real insight into contemporary musical theatre performance, focusing on both the enjoyment and the discipline of the professional theatre.
Our Summer Schools are designed for students aged between 8 and 15 years old. During four days of intensive classes students get the opportunity to work with MGA Staff and our experienced industry Consultants.
Summer School classes include:
- Jazz Dance – Technique and Repertoire
- Choral Singing
- Acting.
Our Summer Schools are usually priced around £165 for the four-day course. More information and booking form can be found here.
Are there any other costs?
Students are required to wear an MGA T-Shirt or vest top to the workshop as it helps us identify them around the building! These can be purchased from only £10. Tracksuits, hoodies, caps and vests are also available!
