Our Faculty
The MGA Part Time Theatre School is coordinated and delivered by the core faculty, with the support of associate tutors.
We expect all our tutors to continually challenge themselves in the professional Performing Arts industry in order to ensure that our students always receive relevant and current information. Our tutors teach because they have a passion for the profession, not because they no longer partake in the profession. Our associate tutors are all working professionals who take time out of their busy schedule to teach for us at The MGA Academy. Here are just a few who, during the last 18 months, offered our students unique and exciting training opportunities right here in Edinburgh.
Your Commitment
Designed to complement a student’s academic studies and to encourage a sense of purpose, direction and dedication, our part-time course is a big commitment but has big rewards.
Run in parallel to school terms, the Part-Time School consists of three terms per year, ten weeks of training per term, with a minimum of 210 contact hours of training through the year (not including extra rehearsal and performance time).
Students enrol on a yearly basis following the academic calendar starting in September and running through to June.
